About the job

We are looking for an expert Salesforce Consultant with experience administering and developing software solutions for nonprofit organizations to join our growing team in Tulsa, OK.

The ideal candidate has a broad knowledge of the Salesforce platform with experience on the administration and development sides as well as a deep understanding of the nonprofit world and what matters to these purpose-driven organizations.

In this role, you will be working with multiple clients, which are primarily based in Tulsa. Since we do client work, you should expect to take on some tasks that do not fit within this exact job description, but in general you will be responsible for:

  • Working with clients to understand, document, and prioritize their business requirements
  • Exploring clients’ IT environment and assessing gaps to meet technical requirements
  • Providing clarity about project scope, cost, and timeline in a detailed project plan
  • Coordinating with Salesforce vendors alongside or on behalf of the client
  • Ensuring development of Salesforce solution stays on track and meets client needs
  • Conducting user testing of Salesforce systems during development
  • Documenting and resolving bugs with Salesforce post-implementation
  • Producing deliverables from the Salesforce platform, such as reports
  • Assisting with change management post-implementation
  • Training users on Salesforce and providing materials for asynchronous learning
  • Serving as client’s advocate and point of contact before, during, and after the project

Technical Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in developing and implementing Salesforce systems
  • 1-3 years of experience as a nonprofit Salesforce administrator and/or consultant
  • Salesforce Administration and/or Salesforce Developer Certification, preferred
  • Certified Nonprofit Cloud Consultant, preferred
  • Knowledge of current technologies, application software development, Agile and iterative development methodologies, preferred
  • Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and skills development via Trailblazer, etc.
  • Proven ability to understand nonprofit needs and design, create and implement Salesforce processes, including the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP)
  • Strong data management abilities, including deduplication and data hygiene
